Vinyl Nation Documentary Screening To Support Indie Record Stores April 18-19
Vinyl Nation Benefit Screening This Weekend
This Saturday should have been the 13th annual Record Store Day celebration of independent record stores, but the coronavirus pandemic had other plans. Although RSD20 has been postponed to June 20th, we can still celebrate record stores and vinyl culture this weekend with an awesome new documentary called Vinyl Nation from directors Kevin Smokler & Christopher Boone that explores the resurgence of vinyl records in America and the human connection they create. Tickets are just $10 and only available through indie record stores. Even better, 100% of ticket sales from this weekend's screenings will benefit indie record stores across the United States!
Buy your tickets here and 100% of the sales will go to support Amoeba Music! Your tickets will be emailed to you directly via Brown Paper Tickets on Friday, April 17 with the screening URL and password. You can then watch documentary online starting 12 midnight Eastern on Saturday, April 18 through 11:59 pm Pacific on Sunday, April 19.
Not only is it a fantastic documentary (featuring Amoeba's very own Marc Weinstein!), but it's a great way to support independent record stores in this very challenging time. Watch the trailer below:
