Record Store Day is an annual global celebration of independently owned record stores, our unique culture, and the important role record stores play in our local communities. Visit any Amoeba store on Saturday, April 22, 2023 for hundreds of limited edition releases available only at indie record stores, special one day sales & more.
We will have hundreds of Record Store Day releases available at our stores on Saturday, April 22nd. View the full list of RSD releases.
Record Store Day releases are limited to stock on hand and available in-store only on a first come, first served basis. No holds, no phone orders. Limit one copy per title per customer. We cannot accept any store coupons on RSD releases.
Remaining RSD titles will be available online at Amoeba.com starting at 5am PT on Sunday, April 23, 2023. As always with these limited edition titles, there are no pre-orders allowed.
Amoeba Hollywood and Amoeba San Francisco use a menu system with our staff pulling Record Store Day titles for customers in the morning. Customers who want RSD titles will line up outside and fill out their menus, which Amoeba staffers will collect and give you a clip to retrieve your bag at the registers. It is very important that you hang on to this clip as it is how you will pick up your RSD items.
We will fill each customer's request for RSD items in the order collected to ensure that the items are being sold according to their place in line. Once the bags are filled, they will be waiting for the customer at the registers in SF & LA.
If you don't want the limited edition Record Store Day titles, you are welcome to come into the store and shop normally once we open.

After your Record Store Day adventures, come enjoy the sunset from the rooftop of The Kimpton Everly Hollywood (one block walk up the street from Amoeba - 1800 Argyle Ave) where we'll celebrate RSD and the groundbreaking Nuggets compilation.
Lenny Kaye will be spinning an all-vinyl set and if you are lucky enough to score a copy of the RSD Nuggets Box Set release, bring it with you to have Lenny sign it after his DJ set!!

Amoeba San Francisco will be open 9AM – 7PM on Saturday, April 22nd. The buy counter will be open 11AM – 7PM.
The Record Store Day menu process will start after 8AM. Customers will line up for RSD titles in front of the store down Haight St, towards Stanyan. Please bring a pen for filling out your RSD menu.

It’s also a great day to come digging for used gems! Hundreds of used vinyl new arrivals are hitting the floor at Amoeba SF on RSD.
Amoeba SF will also have refreshments provided by Guayakí.
