When Earl Sweatshirt & The Alchemist team up the results are undeniable. Voir Dire is short but sweet, which is a-ok since you'll probably want to hit repeat on this one. The beats range from joyfully throwback to moody and cosmic. The lyrics are, as always, smart as hell, fascinating storytelling. Vince Staples appears on a couple tracks, MIKE on one; both serve as excellent complements to Earl's delivery and thematic interests. Voir Dire is one of the most exciting hip-hop releases in recent memory.
