Amoeba Review

Fans of English alt-rockers Basement have waited eight years for a new album and at last, Wired is here. And the band proves once again that they're one of the best acts going right now with these downbeat tracks. Grunge, punk, and indie combine to create a sound that's a true slow burn. The overwhelming feeling is one of angst and anxiety but with heads kept firmly above water. It's good stuff: smart, moving, and emotional.
