Real Estate returns with The Main Thing, a sublime new collection of insightful indie/jangle jams. The aesthetic is still DIY, while the songwriting draws further on the band's pop sensibilities, with Sylvan Esso making an appearance on the dreamily downbeat "Paper Cup." The rest of the songs are equally excellent, steeped in a hazy nostalgia cut through with a sunny wistfulness.
