Amoeba Review

In the market for some good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll from one of the greats? Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs are back with Mission Of Mercy. The guitarist and vocalist brings the exquisite craftsmanship you know and love from his days with Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers to these roots rock rollickers and thoughtful ballads. The B52s’ Kate Pierson makes an appearance. Stones-esque riffs drive the songs forward. Psych and folk influences add elements of surprise. This is a tightly-crafted, thoughtful album that's a delightful listen.
