Hot on the heels of the remixed, expanded anniversary editions of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, The White Album, and Abbey Road (2017-2019) comes a very special newly mixed version of The Beatles classic Let It Be. With producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell at the helm, this new version of the beloved album features a new stereo mix based on Phil Spector’s original “reproduced for disc” version. The mix comes directly from the original session as well as eight-track tapes from the band’s rooftop recording studio concert on January 30, 1969. These reissues aren’t just for collectors, however—they sound so good that they breathe new life into a much-loved classic album. Headphones on for this one.

 

The Super Deluxe Edition includes 27 unreleased session recordings, a 4-track Let It Be EP, the 1969 unreleased 14-track "Get Back" stereo LP mix by Glyn Johns, and a 100-page hardback book with an intro by Paul McCartney, track-by-track recording information, and many unseen photos, notes, and more. A slipcase box set houses the 4 LPs, 12" EP, and hardbound book.
