The British rock band delivers on the promise of their wildly creative debut, with these evocative, dark, and imaginative baroque pop tales. Vocal influences from Kate Bush and Siouxsie Sioux add to an alluring atmosphere on the swirling "Second Best." Moody indie gets infused with a bit of '70s country rock twang on "This Is the Killer Speaking."
