Big Thief guitarist Buck Meek has released a new solo album called Two Saviors, which features the single "Candle" co-written by bandmate Adrianne Lenker. For fans of quirky, well-arranged, indie folk/rock, the album highlights Meek's musing, reedy vocals, and sophisticated lyrics. "Candle" blends soft organ with wavering country guitar, while the following track, "Second Sight," rocks n' rolls along in the verses almost like a Pavement song before sinking into a sweet chorus.
