Amoeba Review

This one's a gift for the fans. Dance Gavin Dance takes a look back at their two decades as a band with Tree City Sessions 3. DGD revisits their discography, deep cuts and all, in this live rerecording and the result is tighter, more intense, and emotionally bruising. Melodic vocals that pack a punch, screaming post-hardcore delivery that funnels fury, pain, and disappointment into the songs. Rapidfire percussion, guitars that move from mathrock to alt-rock. Call it controlled chaos because this is an act that knows just what it's doing.
