Amoeba Review

almost monday are a jolt of rock 'n' roll sunshine. As you can tell by the album title, THANK GOD IT'S ALMOST MONDAY, this is a band that's tongue-in-cheek, deeply fun, and always ready to let the good times roll. They're also darn good at what they do. Genre-wise, they do a lot, effortlessly moving from hook-heavy electronic to infectious pop to addictive Strokes-inspired indie rock. Yep, you can count on almost monday to write a serious earworm. A high-energy, mood-lifting album that's a joy to listen to from the opening track to the final chords.
