Chris Stapleton follows up From A Room: Volume 2 with Starting Over, a set of mostly raw, stripped-down songs that highlight his rootsy vocals. Joined by his wife Morgane Stapleton on backing harmonies, the Kentucky singer/songwriter serves up sweet ballads ("When I'm With You"), southern rock ("Arkansas") and moody contemplation ("Hillbilly Blood"). He also addresses the 2017 Vegas concert shooting with the powerful, angry "Watch You Burn."
