Amoeba Review

We could all use a little more fun, a little more of the sparkle of love. We could all use a little more Troye Sivan. His latest, She's The Best, is neon-streaked, lovesick, hopeful, and a little silly. The album feels contemplative and dreamy; for most of its runtime, Sivan aims to speak (sing) into being the imagined love of his life. But there's also a sweet and glamorous ode to his female friends (the title track) and a song where he names all the places he's going to party (yep, that would be the track "Party"), which is ridiculous and good-natured and a total blast. This is a thoroughly enjoyable, put-a-smile-on-your-face electropop album.
