Amoeba Review

Gilla Band are impossible to ignore. Their latest, Pugnello, is bristling, abrasive, and a real pleasure. The Dublin four-piece blends noise rock, electronics, and post-punk, with simmering, sharp-tongued verses and barely controlled chaos erupting in the choruses. This is the type of an album that'll make you stop in your tracks and listen. A brutal yet bewitching record.
