All sales are final. However, if an item is defective we will do our best to replace it whenever possible. If we are unable to replace the item, we will issue a refund. Please email us at [email protected] if an item you purchased on Amoeba.com is defective.
In cases of exchanges for defects in the original product, we will send the replacement piece(s) once we have received the original returned item. There will not be a shipping charge for this exchange.
All items must be in original condition and show no signs of use, and must be returned in original vendor packaging.
If you choose to have your package shipped via a freight-forwarding service you are doing so entirely at your own risk. Any customs or import duties, brokerage fees, taxes and all other charges paid on return shipments are solely your responsibility. In the event you refuse your package, all costs, duties, fees, or taxes are your responsibility and will not be refunded to you. We will not refund or reship any packages shipped to a freight-forwarding service.
In the United States, if the recipient refuses delivery an item purchased at www.amoeba.com, all charges shall be your responsibility and Amoeba may charge you for any additional charges.
In the event that purchases are not delivered to you due to a mistake on Amoeba’s part, Amoeba will completely refund you or send the item to you again without extra charge when the item is still available, whichever you prefer. Please note that when you place your order, a label is automatically generated from the address you type into your account details and so you are responsible for entering your correct address. If you enter the incorrect address and do not notify us before the order is shipped, Amoeba cannot refund your purchase. If we send you items that you did not order, we will refund you for cost of the outgoing postage and packing on those individual items, once you send them back to us.
If items are not delivered because you gave us incorrect information, or because your post office was unable to deliver the package because there was no-one to receive it, Amoeba will refund you for the cost of the items only, but not for the postage and packing charges. Provided the items are still available, Amoeba can re-send the items at your request one time only and you will have to pay all shipping fees.
Requests for refunds must be made within 30 days of the purchase date. Amoeba will not refund after such date for any reason whatsoever.
In rare cases Amoeba may offer the option to return an item which is not defective you shall be responsible for the shipping costs for returning the item to Amoeba. Credits or refunds will be issued to you for the original purchase price after the item(s) are received and processed by Amoeba.
Digital downloads are not returnable or refundable. There are no exchanges based on the production values of the download. Amoeba does not create the content sold which is done by record companies, artist, producers, etc. Once downloading has commenced Amoeba cannot accept cancellations or provide any refunds. We provide audio samples of 30 to 90 seconds on nearly all tracks for sale at a bit rate of mp3 128kbps, and encourage you to sample the audio before committing to a purchase.
