Amoeba Review

The Grammy-nominated British soul singer/songwriter celebrates 40 years since his first recording with a new album, Off The Fence. The album is a feel-good set of originals that shine with timeless '60s soul and R&B melodies and arrangements. Whether swooning or lively, tracks like "Two Birds One Stone" and "Believe It When I See It" sound like old school classics. The sassy "Ain't That A Trip" features guest vocals by Van Morrison, for whom Hunter provided backup guitar and vocals in the 1990s.
