Brit punk royalty The Damned are back, with a bit of a twist. On Not Like Everybody Else, the lads have constructed a collection of cover versions of oldies and garage rock songs, serving as a tribute to fallen founding guitarist Brian James, who passed in March 2025. The album also sees the studio return of OG drummer Rat Scabies, who rejoined The Damned in 2024. Songs include "Summer in the City" by The Lovin' Spoonful, "Gimme Danger" by the Stooges, and "The Last Time" by The Rolling Stones, which features James on guitar from his final live performances with the band. A fitting tribute to a fallen punk legend!
