Cypress Hill is celebrating their 30th anniversary with an epic show in their hometown of Los Angeles. We want to send you and a friend to see Cypress Hill perform with Atmosphere and special guest Z-Trip Friday, August 13 at Shrine LA Outdoors!
Three decades ago, B-Real, Sen Dog, and DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill sparked a trip that left popular culture stoned, stunned, and staggering in anticipation for more. They also made history as the “first Latino American hip-hop recording group to go platinum” with their 1991 self-titled debut album.
Atmosphere, the venerated Minneapolis hip hop duo, has maintained a course of rigorous output, releasing over two dozen studio albums, EPs and collaborative side projects over the last two decades. Following their 2020 release, The Day Before Halloween, Atmosphere returns with a refreshing new project, simply titled WORD? due out October 8, 2021 via Rhymesayers.
Z-Trip is often referred to as a young Rick Rubin. His roots are based in Hip Hop, but he covers and loves all music styles. Considered by many as the godfather of mash-ups, his style of mixing and producing reaches way beyond that. Z-Trip received the award for America’s Best DJ and still remains on the top 10 lists year after year.
