Amoeba Review

DJ Seinfeld's If This Is It has to be one of the most joyful, inviting, feel-good dance albums of the year. Part of that's the warmth of nostalgia: influences include throwback house, UK garage, and swirling early 2000s trance. The songs are giddy and euphoric, wistful but danceable. Guests include Confidence Man, SG Lewis, TS Graye, Dan Whitlam, ARY, Moyka, and just lil. An album about letting go even when that seems impossible, If This Is It is that rare listen that feels life-affirming and intimate as an old friend, while still making you want to dance it all out.
