Vol. 1 pairs two performances: Side 1 is a 1972 recording of Garcia and Merl Saunders' “Save Mother Earth” (featuring Paul Butterfield on harmonica), Side 2 consists of the Jerry Garcia Band’s 1988 recordings of “Don’t Let Go” and “Think.” These performances really capture that Jerry Garcia magic and with a record this good, you'll want to immerse yourself in this listening experience again and again.
