Young producer LT makes his debut on Rhythm Section International with 'Forest Floor', featuring assists from label head Bradley Zero and Mali Baden-Powell. LT splits the difference between placid breaks and lighthearted melodies, and bumping, rousing, stabby organ house. Barring the chilled out "Untitled (Chesney)", the results get pretty close to "anthem" levels - this has sunny summer festival written all over it! Slightly different sound, but reminds us a bit of when Khotin first showed up, or indeed Lone, as the label says. Plenty of hooks. A sweet taste for August.
