Montreal duo Sorry Girls make quite a splash with their debut full-length, Deborah. Lush with throwback romanticism, sweeping melodies, and vibrant washes of sound, it’s hard to resist this sad, swooning little album. Deborah was mixed by David Carriere of the band TOPS, so fans of throwback New Romantic-adjacent vibes should appreciate these yearning, lovely songs. This is the kind of album it’s easy to get lost in, drifting away on a nostalgic ‘80s teenage dream.
