Dancing On The Wall [Clear Red Vinyl] (LP)
MUNA
Amoeba Review
MUNA made the pop record we've all been dreaming of without knowing it. Dancing On The Wall is bouncy, fun (even when the songs are sad), infectious, and just all-around great. You'll find rave-inspired dance floor numbers, catchy-as-hell alt-pop, and electroclash-inspired bangers. Of course, MUNA lives in the same world as the rest of us, so the album also explores themes of anxiety, environmental decay, and political tensions. The album just makes dancing seem like a totally rational way to let off some steam and find some joy amidst it all.
