16-year-old car thief old Colin Warner is sure his number is up when the NYPD finally catches up with him. To his surprise, the police don't accuse him of boosting a ride, but claim he murdered Mario Hamilton, a teenager Colin has never heard of or met. Trapped by a corrupt system, Colin finds himself being sentenced to life in jail for a crime he did not commit. With nowhere to turn, Colin must rely on his best friend Carl King to find out the truth and finally bring him justice. Carl must battle the system, his family and himself in his quest to free an innocent man.
