Creature Of Habit (LP)
Courtney Barnett
Amoeba Review
Courtney Barnett's Creature Of Habit is essential listening. Jangly, witty, and rather sunny considering its subject matter, the album explores doubt, repetitive behavior, and how to live in a world where everything feels like it's built on shifting sands. Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee guests on "Site Unseen," Flea plays bass on "One Thing at a Time." This is an album that feels warm and inviting as hanging out with an old friend...one who just happens to deliver some truly addictive choruses and droll, smart lyrics.
