Amoeba Review

It's hit after hit on Reneé Rapp's ridiculously fun new album, BITE ME. These ultra-catchy songs are anything but generic pop: they're funny, edgy, and inventive. "Leave Me Alone," with its repeated exhortations of "leave me alone bitch, I wanna have fun," is a bop for everyone — starlet or not — who's just over it and wants to enjoy life for a minute. "Why Is She Still Here" takes heartbreak and turns it into a bluesy R&B showstopper. "Mad" is a glossy, attitude-filled, tongue-in-cheek anthem about wasted time. Well-crafted and thoroughly entertaining, BITE ME is one of the year's best pop records.
