The Zombies continue their reissue series with their 1965 debut album, Begin Here. Remastered from its original mono mix, this new edition combines all 17 tracks from the UK version and the US version (titled The Zombies). The single "She's Not There" was a hypnotic and mysterious gem that expertly melded the group's R&B influences with jazz rock and baroque pop. The sparse and lovely "The Way I Feel Inside" has been recently revived by movies like Wes Anderson's The Life Aquatic and the animated Sing, reminding us of the band's continued influence. Begin Here was remastered by the same team as last year's Odessey and Oracle and features new liner notes by David Fricke.
