Canadian artist TiKA's new album Anywhere But Here kicks off with a sweet, infectious track called "Soothing Love" that melds '90s R&B with '80s synth pop. "Human Heart" is another strong melody with that flawless hybrid arrangement. It's fitting that she covers a Prince song as this set takes neo-soul and elevates it with lovely pop elements much like the Purple One. The cover, "I Would Die 4 U," is a slower, sweeter version that shows off TiKA's flexible vocals and sleek style.
