Viagra Boys are back with the off-kilter, incisive, incredible Viagr Aboys. Lyrically the album is deadpan and droll, surreal and sharp. There's a song about a bog body. There are several songs shining a light on the ludicrousness of contemporary society. The music moves from chugging punk rock to woozy country. Woodwinds come in and provide a fleeting frisson of beauty. The guitars, throughout it all, are rowdy and raucous. Yep, it's one of the best punk rock records of the year so far.
