The Miki Berenyi Trio blends dream pop and dance to delightful effect on Tripla. The trio consists of former Lush singer/guitarist Miki Berenyi, KJ ‘Moose’ McKillop and Oliver Cherer, who share songwriting duties rooted in their shared shoegaze and Britpop pasts. The songs manage to feel timeless yet rooted in their lineage, like a swirling late '80s post-punk-meets-electronic record with a thoroughly modern vibe. With shimmering melodies and timely lyrics, Tripla finds beauty in even the most uncertain circumstances.
