Synopsis
Clay Spencer, his wife Olivia and their nine children are the third and fourth generations of Spencers to have lived on Spencer's Mountain in the Grand Tetons. Clay has long promised Livie a large dream house on the mountain to replace their small house, which they share with Clay's parents. But an obstacle appears when their oldest, Clay Jr., becomes the first Spencer ever to graduate from high school, not only with honors but at the top of his class. College beckons, but can Clay Sr. shoulder the expense and still afford his dream house? Based on the novel by Earl Hamner Jr. that later inspired TV's The Waltons.
