TV Is My Parent is a 95-minute concert film by Sia that includes a live performance, music videos, and behind-the-scenes footage:

• Concert: The live concert was filmed at the Hiro Ballroom in New York City on September 12, 2007. The concert features songs from Sia's albums Some People Have Real Problems (2008), Colour the Small One (2004), and her collaborations with Zero 7. The concert audio was mixed into 5.1 surround sound.
• Music videos: The film includes four music videos.
• Behind-the-scenes footage: The film includes a section titled "Where the Magic Happens" that features behind-the-scenes footage from Sia's 2008 North American tour.
