Raw Honey (LP)
Drugdealer

Amoeba Review

Drugdealer’s second album, Raw Honey, is filled with existential AM Gold, lush indie ballads, and weirdo pop. Michael Collins, the man behind the band, has enlisted a ragtag team of fellow travelers for this one, with guest vocalists Dougie Poole (“Wild Motion”), Harley Hill-Richmond (“Lonely”), and Natalie Mering of Weyes Blood (“Honey”). Dreamy, polished, and quirky, the melodies sound like the Laurel Canyon scene meeting the Yacht Rock crew in a gritty LA underground club. Essential listening for fans of boundary-pushing indie artists who refuse to take the world at face value.
