Luna Li is a Korean-Canadian Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter. Li’s 2022 debut LP Duality and her 2024 sophomore album When a Thought Grows Wings both garnered a Juno Award nomination for Alternative Album of the Year. When a Thought Grows Wings was produced by Monsune (SZA, Drake) and Andrew Lappin (L’Rain). Classically trained, Luna Li plays at least seven different instruments.

Now, nearly a year after its original release, Luna Li returns to When a Thought Grows Wings – not to revise, but to expand. When a Thought Grows Wings (Reimagined) brings together a constellation of Li’s valued collaborators and favorite artists: Hope Tala, Mei Semones, MAVI, HOMESHAKE, Wallice, tg.blk, and Raveena. Each one lends a unique perspective to Li’s sonic world, offering new dimensions to each composition. The record also includes “You Didn’t Have To Go,” a bonus track that serves as a tender parting note, and a new series of her signature “jams”: intimate, looped instrumentals that made Li a quiet icon of bedroom magic. When a Thought Grows Wings (Reimagined) arrives August 8, 2025.
