Lil' Libros celebrates the release of the new bilingual children's book "The Life of / La vida de Ritchie" (Ritchie Valens biography) with an in-store signing at Amoeba Hollywood Sunday, September 15 at 1pm. Come and meet the founders of Lil' Libros -- Patty Rodriguez and Ariana Stein -- and get your book signed!

To attend the signing:

** Purchase your copy of "The Life of / La vida de Ritchie" and/or "First 100 Words In English & Spanish" in-store only at Amoeba Hollywood on September 15th to receive a ticket to attend this event.

** Limit 2 books per person for signing.

** In-store day-of purchases only. No online or phone orders for this special event.

** Space is limited.

** Please leave large strollers, bags/backpacks at home or in the car if possible. Large bags/backpacks will need to be checked at security.

About Lil' Libros:

Noticing a shortage of bilingual books for children, two mothers began their mission to introduce bilingual literature and Latin American culture through picture books. Lil’ Libros was created to inspire parents to read to their children and encourage them to do so in two languages. "The Life of / La vida de Ritchie"

Born May 13, 1941, Ritchie Valens was a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. His musical journey started at age 5 when his father encouraged him to take up guitar. In high school, he made his performing debut with the band The Silhouettes. At 17, Ritchie recorded his final record, which included classics like "Donna" and "La Bamba". That record went on to sell over one million copies. To this day, Ritchie Valens' music lives on in the hearts of many!
