A down-and-out music promoter (Dirk Benedict) ventures into the world of professional wrestling when he takes on a pair of grapplers ("Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Sam Fatu) as clients. And when he books a band to play at the matches, he mixes rock and roll and wrestling into a wildly successful new genre of entertainment.
