Phono del SolThe Phono del Sol Music & Food Festival returns to SF's Potrero del Sol Park in The Mission on Saturday, June 17th. In the tradition of years past, the nonprofit festival will feature a curated mix of favorite local bands and standout national headlining acts, along with some of SF’s tastiest food trucks, artisan cocktails, craft beer, and family friendly activities. A portion of ticket proceeds will go to the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department.

The lineup for this year will be headlined by San Francisco’s own garage-punk rockers Thee Oh Sees. Female punk rock trio The Coathangers are also set to perform, along with Oakland-based songwriter Jay Som, independent folk-rock singer Sean Hayes, and funk-wave hip-hop artist DUCKWRTH. Additional performers include the Oakland-based afro-soul and R&B collective Bells Atlas, Bay Area-based rock outfit Never Young, R&B singer-songwriter Rayana Jay, Oakland-based dream-pop singer-songwriter Madeline Kenney, and indie-psych sextet Tino Drima.

Amoeba is proud to once again partner with The Bay Bridged and Tiny Telephone for the 6th annual Phono del Sol festival on Saturday, July 9th. This all-day music and food festival takes place in the great outdoors in Potrero del Sol Park in San Francisco. From noon till 7pm, rock out with live performances from Alvvays, Chairlift, Born Ruffians, and many more.

Additionally, there are pre-parties, after-parties, and a brunch happening surrounding the festivities. On Friday, June 24 at 25th Street Recording (426 25th Street, Oakland), Hot Flash Heat Wave will showcase songs from their debut LP, Neapolitan, with a special broken-down set. Free admission. A pre-Phono brunch is taking place at Cease and Desist (July 9, 10 am - 12 pm, 2331 Mission Street, San Francisco), where singer-songwriter Travis Hayes will perform his heartfelt songs from his forthcoming second LP, Sleepless. Attendees will enjoy brunch items as well as Bloody Mary's. "Brunch + Festival" tickets are currently on sale on the Phono site. For music lovers who don't want to stop celebrating after the festival ends, an official after-party with Yumi Zouma, The Peach Kings, French Cassettes, and BFF.fm DJs is happening at Rickshaw Stop on July 9 (9 pm, $15 adv/$18 door, all ages, 155 Fell Street, San Francisco).

Amoeba partners with The Bay Bridged and Tiny Telephone for the 5th annual Phono del Sol festival on Saturday, July 11th. This all-day music and food festival features 12 live bands on two stages in Potrero del Sol Park in San Francisco.

This year's line-up is fantastic! Rock out with Tanlines, King Tuff, Sonny & the Sunsets, Everyone is Dirty, and so many more while perusing local food trucks, and arts and crafts vendors. See the full band line-up below. There's nothing like the great outdoors!
