This amazing concert is being released in its entirety for the first time on July 12th!

Although 4 songs were previously on the limited edition Amoeba's Secret EP, Amoeba Gig features all 21 songs from his career-spanning performance. The LPs will also include a bonus track ("Coming Up") from soundcheck. The Paul McCartney Amoeba show holds a special place in the hearts of everyone -- staff and customers alike -- who was lucky enough to be there. Almost immediately after the official announcement was made, passionate fans began lining up outside Amoeba and proceeded to wait for two days to be one of the seven hundred people who made it inside to see the show. Among the celebrities at this once-in-a-lifetime in-store were Woody Harrelson, Alanis Morissette, and let's not forget Ringo Starr himself, whose arrival signified that the last two remaining Beatles were under our roof.

The 65-year-old McCartney greeted the excited crowd with: "Hello Amoeba. This has to be the most surreal gig ever. No shoplifting please." Then he graced us with a high-energy performance of 21 songs from his 40+ year career, kicking off with "Drive My Car" and including "Back in the U.S.S.R.," "I saw Her Standing There," "Only Mama Knows," and “The Long and Winding Road.”

The dynamic set also included a solo acoustic version of “Here Today” which McCartney introduced by saying, “I'd like to do a song about people who we miss tonight. I wrote this song for John. It's for George and Linda as well.” There were countless magical moments like these, and the generation-crossing audience sang along to beloved classics like "Hey Jude" and "Let It Be."

Perhaps McCartney said it best, for everyone present: “I'd like to take a little moment to take this all in. I was there. I was there at Amoeba.
