1: N.E.R.D. NO_ONE EVER REALLY DIES [Pre-Order Dec 15th album] (Columbia Records)

Following the lead of its successful first single “Lemon (feat. Rihanna)” released early last month, recently reunited N.E.R.D. will drop their anticipated new album NO_ONE EVER REALLY DIES [Pre-Order] on December 15th. You can pre-order now from Amoeba with free shipping in US. Comprised of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley it will be the N.E.R.D.'s fifth studio album and the trio's first since 2010’s Nothing. This new album was not expected by most to drop until sometime in 2018.  Along with the Rihanna cameo track “Lemon,” the new album will feature another ten songs (some of which have already been heard) and include many more big names making appearances. These will include Ed Sheeran (“Lifting You”), André 3000 (“Rollinem 7’s”), Future (“1000”), Gucci Mane & Wale (“Voilà”), and Kendrick Lamar who will appear on both "Don’t Don’t Do It" and on "Kites" on which M.I.A. also collaborates. No Mountains In Manhattan LP Dec 8 pre-order ( pre-order CD) (XL Recordings)

Following several years of been under the radar, New York rapper Wiki looks set to take it to the next level with this official debut No Mountains In Manhattan 2LP pre-order that gets released this upcoming Friday, December 8th. That same date will be No Mountains In Manhattan CD version.    Pre-order CD version. Some first discovered the underground 24 year old New York City rapper earlier this year when he collaborated with fellow NYC vocal hip-hop talent Your Old Droog on the all killer EP  What Happened To Fire?

Longtime Wiki fans have been down with WIki since he first emerged, while still a teen, at the start of this decade with NYC crew Ratking along with MC Hak and Sporting Life and featuring such affiliate artists as Princess Nokia. The upcoming new solo album guests include Ghostface Killah and Your Old Droog.

3:  The Pharcyde Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde [Deluxe Edition] Dec 15 PreOrder) (Craft Recordings)

The 25th Anniversary Edition of the 1992 hip-hop classic from The Pharcyde: Bizarre Ride II The
Pharcyde [Deluxe Edition] (5LP) PreOrder Upcoming Release). Five 12" records in this deluxe edition that includes the main album on two of the LPs (in yellow and blue colored vinyl), plus three long out of print 12" singles, all in black vinyl. These are "Passin' Me By," "Otha FIsh" and “Ya Mama"-  all as they originally were released. The "Ya Mama" single's three versions include the LP mix, the Murphy mix, and the Cosby mix”  while the “Otha Fish” single contains five different versions: “Video Edit” “Video Edit Instrumental” “LA Jay Remix” “The Angel Remix” and “Live At Dodger Stadium.”

Oh and the fold-out LP cover has some historical text on this truly amazing landmark hip-hop album. The new 5LP set will again be released by Craft Recordings who very recently released the 2LP set reissue Bizarre Ride II LP as well as the cassette version reissue.  Note that this special Deluxe edition, which is expected to be in very high demand, is limited to one per customer. 4: Wu-Tang Clan  "Tearz" / "Wu-Tang: 7th Chamber Part II" 7" Dec 15 Pre-Order (Get On Down)

Both this 7" single and the next chart entry immediately below (both upcoming December 15th releases) continue the Get On Down label's repressing of the Wu-Tang Clan's classic singles in a new seven inch singles series. Last month we saw the Get On Down's reissue of the Wu-Tang Clan's “Bring Da Ruckus" / "Shame On A Nigga” (7"), "Clan In Da Front" / "Wu-Tang: 7th Chamber" (7"),   "Can It Be All So Simple" / "Da Mystery Of Chessboxin'" (7"),  "Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nothin To F' Wit" / "C.R.E.A.M." (7"), and  "Clan In Da Front" / "Wu-Tang: 7th Chamber" (7"). This B-Side of this new single is a sequel to the latter single's B-Side with "Tearz" on the A-Side. 

5: Wu-Tang Clan  "Method Man" / "Protect Ya Neck" 7" Dec 15 Pre-order (Get On Down)

This was the crew's debut single in 1993 and hence the record that many were introduced to the Wu-Tang Clan' through and won over with its unique sound. Originally "Method Man" featuring the emcee member of the same name was the B-Side of this 1993 Loud Records single which Get On Down reissued in 12" format two years ago but is out of print now. This and the other Wu-Tang 7" singles from Get On Down all will likely be sold out in a relatively short time.
