This week's vinyl reissues include Peter Gabriel’s first four self-titled solo albums remastered at half-speed on heavyweight 180gm vinyl. Here are the reissue highlights for October 30th, 2015:

Built to Spill’s second full-length is available on vinyl for the first time since its original release in 1994. Available on cream colored vinyl and on standard black.

Daisies of the Galaxy and Electro-Shock Blues

The Eels’ 1998 release Electro-Shock Blues and its 2000 follow up Daisies of the Galaxy were just reissued on 180 gram vinyl. Electro-Shock Blues features frontman E, drummer Butch Norton and guest appearances from T-Bone Burnett, Lisa Germano, Grant Lee Phillips, and Jon Brion. Guests on Daisies include Peter Buck, and Michael Simpson.

[Half-Speed Remaster, 180 Gram Vinyl]

Peter Gabriel’s first four self-titled solo albums are available on vinyl for the first time since 2002. All the albums have been Half-Speed Remastered and cut to lacquers at 45RPM, across two heavyweight 180gm LPs to deliver maximum dynamic sound range. Each album comes as a limited edition of 10,000 worldwide and all are individually numbered. Albums include download cards with a choice of digital download (Hi-Res 24-bit/96k or 16-bit/44.1k).

Originally released in 1999 and repressed in 2009, the Get Up Kids’ second LP has been out-of-print for some time. Available on pink, grey and white splattered vinyl.

Son Volt Trace

In honor of the twentieth anniversary of Trace, Son Volt’s debut album has been remastered and reissued both on CD and on 180 gram vinyl. The CD release features previously unreleased demos and a second disc featuring a live recording of a 1996 concert.

The first and only release from Ugly Casanova has been long out-of-print on vinyl. Sub Pop’s double LP reissue features four bonus songs: "Babies Clean Conscience," "Diggin Holes," "Roads to Go to Roads to Go to…" and the previously unreleased "They Devised A Plan to Fuck Forever."

Not a vinyl reissue, but an honorable mention nevertheless. Alanis Morissette re-released Jagged Little Pill in two CD versions to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The 2-disc Deluxe Edition contains the new 2015 remaster and a second disc of unreleased demos. The 4-CD Collector's Edition includes both of those and a disc of a previously unreleased concert from 1995 and Jagged Little Pill Acoustic.
