DOOMSTARKS, which is the mythical collaboration between MF DOOM and Ghostface Killah that gave us the "Victory Laps" 12" single via Nature Sounds from few years ago,  are back with the "Lively Hood" single via Cartoon Network’s popular late-night Adult Swim programming as part of its sixth annual "Singles" series, supplying exclusive new music for free digitally from an eclectic array of artists.  This year's series includes the single from DOOMSTARKS (pictured above) on which the two mic-wreckers, over a DOOM produced track, trade hypnotic stream-of-consciousness rhymes. Among the others in the 19 part series for this year are Danny Brown with Clams Casino, Sia, Slayer, and  WOKE which is Flying Lotus, Shabazz Palaces, & Thundercat, featuring George Clinton.

Among the recommended new full length hip-hop releases to arrive into Amoeba is Apollo Brown's star-studded, nineteen track album Grandeur on the Mello Music Group label.  Available in both Grandeur CD and Grandeur download versions its expansive guest list of decade spanning hip-hop artists includes Oddisee, Chino XL, Masta Ace, Planet Asia, O.C., and the recently prematurely departed Sean Price. As with most releases from Mello Music this latest album from the ever innovative Apollo Brown does not disappoint. Grandeur, which is a timeless hip-hop composition that sounds simultaneously brand new and retro, is the Detroit producer's seventh solo album and arguably his best yet as indicated by such stand out tracks as soulful scorching "Walk With Me" featuring Vinnie Paz and Blacastan, and the album's lead single "Detonate" featuring M.O.P.

Another new release at Amoeba is the collaborative project from Big BoiPhantogram (Big Grams/7 Deadly Songs LP). Although out a while, another release to pick up at Amoeba is the double vinyl version of Run The Jewels 2 from Killer Mike and El-P care of Nas' label Mass Appeal Records.  Out a few months already is MURS' eclectic Have A Nice Life album that features the song "Two Step" for which his label Strange Music Inc. just published the brand new music video for below. Also below is the brand new video for the collaboration between Homeboy Sandman and Grizzly Gato for the track "Finding A New Balance On A Boogie Board"  with cuts by Nate Da Great that is really good and worth checking out.

TableBeats founder Daniel Hulth recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the development of a TableBeats App for Android users of his TableBeats which he calls the "#1 looper" out there with "smooth platform and layout." The new Android App he says promises to be a useful practice tool for DJs that will complete with a variety of beats plus "Automatic Speed Control (ASC) for the ultimate practice session" that will offer DJs a lot of variety and choices while practicing. Interested DJs should check out the TableBeats Kickstarter page.
