This week's vinyl reissues include six albums by Afrobeat originator Fela Kuti, each pressed on a different color vinyl, and New Order's release of three albums on heavyweight 180gm vinyl, to complete their reissue discography. Here are the reissue highlights for October 16, 2015.

Colored Vinyl

It’s been nearly twenty years since Fela Kuti passed away, but through various reissues projects, a recent film and even a Broadway musical, his legacy lives on. Having already released Kuti’s complete catalogue of almost 50 albums online and on CD, Knitting Factory continues their mission to bring the Afrobeat originator’s works to vinyl. Teaming up with Pledge Music, Knitting Factory have pressed six pioneering albums on colored vinyl, each record with a different shade.

180-Gram Vinyl

Following up their massive five-album reissue campaign in 2008, New Order are reissuing three more albums to complete their discography. This includes 180-gram vinyl reissues of 1993's Republic, 2001's Get Ready, and 2005's Waiting for the Sirens' Call, all of which are long out-of-print on vinyl.
