To whet your appetite further, check out these songs that will be released on Record Store Day but that you can stream now. And be sure to come to Amoeba stores on April 19—read about what we’ll have going on in-store here.

Ex-Cult – “Ties You Up”

While this track will be on the upcoming Midnight Passenger album, this version (not found on the album) is produced by garage-rock wunderkind Ty Segall, giving it that extra oomph.

Lust for Youth – “Illume”

lust for youth sacred bonesWe’ve been fans of Sacred Bones signees Lust for Youth for some time now, but they seem to really be coming into their own with the cleaned-up and poppy “Illume.” It’ll appear on their new album International (out June 10), but before that, you can pick it up on Sacred Bones’ compilation Todo Muere Vol. 4, with other gothy goodies from Zola Jesus, Marissa Nadler, David Lynch and more.

Parquet Courts – “Sunbathing Animal”

Check out the new track by New York don’t-call-them-slack-rockers Parquet Courts. It’ll be out on a 7” RSD, along with B-side “Pilgrims to Nowhere.” It’s also the title track from the next Parquet Courts album, due June 3. As for the video, let’s just say the title says it all.

The Black Angels – “Diamond Eyes”

Narcotic rockers The Black Angels will have a new EP out RSD called Clear Lake Forest. Hear the psychedelic “Diamond Eyes” below.

Liars – “Mess on a Mission” (Black Bananas remix)

The frenetic “Mess on a Mission,” from Liars’ excellent, recently released Mess, gets even crazier on this Black Bananas remix from a new Mess on a Mission 12” coming out RSD. The coolest thing about it: The vinyl has pieces of colored string pressed right into it. We wanna watch that baby spin.

of Montreal – “Jigsaw Puzzle”

of montreal jigsaw puzzle lpof Montreal’s latest album, Lousy With Sylvianbriar, was a bit of a return to form for the band and for Kevin Barnes’ classic songwriting style. “Jigsaw Puzzle” was taken from those same sessions and will be released as a limited edition 7”. And don’t miss the band’s reissue of Satanic Panic in the Attic, also out RSD.
