Is Amoeba.com's Inventory the Same as Your Store Inventory?
No. Our new inventories for physical goods (CDs, vinyl, etc) are roughly the same, but used inventories are different across each store and Amoeba.com. Additionally, Amoeba.com sells digital downloads that are not available for purchase in the stores. The physical goods available for sale on Amoeba.com are a reflection of our stores' constantly changing inventories and many items are rare or one-of-a-kind. Some of the harder to find items listed are subject to availability. We will do our best to fill all orders placed, and will offer an immediate 100% refund for pieces that may have sold out prior to placed orders.
Can I Buy Physical Product [CDs, LPs, DVDs] from Amoeba.com?
How Can I Tell Which Region DVD or Blu-ray I Am Browsing?
Unless otherwise noted on the item's detail page, all DVD and Blu-ray are "region 1" and will only play in U.S. and all-region players.
Will Sales Tax Be Added to my Order?
We must collect 9% sales tax from orders shipping to California customers, computed on the total including shipping & handling.
Can I Shop Amoeba.com on My Mobile Device?
Amoeba.com is not yet fully optimized on mobile web devices. Currently our album pages (CDs, Vinyl) are optimized and are responsive on the mobile web. Our cart and checkout experience has also been made responsive for devices on the mobile web.
Can I Buy Digital Downloads from Amoeba.com?
As of January 29th 2016, Amoeba.com no longer offers downloads on a lager scale. We will maintain our curated Vinyl Vaults downloads and continue to add content to that section of the website. All downloads can be purchased in MP3, WAV, and M4A (ALAC – Apple Lossless) formats.
