New and recent hip-hop album releases to arrive in Amoeba Music's three retail outlets and on the online Amoeba store include Mac Miller's GO:OD A.M. on Warner Brothers, Glasses Malone's GH2: Life Ain't Nuthin' But...  on Blu Division Music, Michigan rapper/filmmaker Prozak's We All Fall Down on the Tech N9ne co-founded Strange Music Inc. record label, and Young Dro's The Reality Show on E1 Music - the first album in two long hip-hop years from the Atlanta artist who released High Times back in October of 2013. Other recent releases include Scarface's Deeply Rooted on BMG from the Geto Boys star, and the popular new joint from Motor City hip-hop favorite son Guilty Simpson, whose latest full-length Detroit Son is released via Peanut Butter Wolf's Stones Throw Records in both CD and vinyl formats as well as a download version of the recommended new 17 track release. Meanwhile, soon-to-drop upcoming releases will include Rhymesayers artist/Chicago femcee Psalm One (aka Hologram Kizzie) whose been on the road recently, including at Riot Fest 2015 in her hometown (see video below) and at Hiero Day earlier this month in Oakland, as pre-promotion for her soon-to-drop P.O.L.Y. album.

The Red Bull Music Academy 2012 will be held in New York City, September 30th - November 2nd. Music makers, vocalists, and DJs are invited to apply from February 2nd to April 2nd. The application phase will kick off in style in San Francisco with three days of concerts and parties all around town! Check out these events:

Grammy Award winning jazz saxophonist Gary Bartz began making waves on the jazz scene during its prime in New York City and never slowed down. Mr. Bartz was formally trained at Julliard; however, it’s the time alongside jazz greats like Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, and McCoy Tyner that has placed him as a legend in the game. R&B icon, Bilal, serves as featured vocalist for the Gary Bartz Project, and for this special night only, soul sensation and 2006 RBMA Participant, Aloe Blacc, will join them on stage.
