If you are a HUGE fan of the furry forest-dwelling creature known as Sasquatch or The Mighty Peking Man, GoliathonBigfoot and would like to spend a fun-filled weekend with the hairy guy, then do we have the perfect event for you. The Super Shangri-La Show presents their first annual Bigfoot Bonanza festival March 10th-12th at the Balboa Theatre in San Francisco.

Spend three days reveling in Bigfoot and Yeti cult classics, Creature From Black Lakedocumentaries, and TV shows, and listening to talks from some of the top specialists in the field including Cliff Barackman, Kathy Strain, members of The Ultimate Female Bigfoot Team, and John & Montra Freitas, as well as independent filmmakers Craig Flipy and Seth Breedlove. A smorgasbord of Bigfoot movies and documentaries such as The Legend of Boggy Creek, Snow Beast, Creature from Black Lake, Night of the Demon, The Mighty Peking Man, Yeti: Giant of the 20th Century, Minerva Monster, and television episodes of Leonard Nimoy's In Search Of, The Bionic Woman, Jonny Quest, and more will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The Budos Band at Amoeba Hollywood

The Budos Band is a New York-based instrumental ensemble rooted in Afro-beat, soul jazz and funk music. After forming at a jam session hosted by Antibalas, the group released their self-titled debut on Daptone Records in 2005. Two years later, they followed this release up with The Budos Band II, a lengthy promotional tour, and a hiatus during which the many members contributed to other projects. In 2010, the band reunited once more for their third effort, aptly titled The Budos Band III.

2014 marked a slight shift in direction for the band, when their new album, Burnt Offering, saw the group dabbling in psychedelia and vintage soundtrack music while still staying true to their Afro-beat and funk foundations. The Budos Band will be appearing at several North America summer festivals this year, such as Sasquatch and Desert Daze.
