Equipto's Kickstarter Pitch Video for Upcoming Tour
Longtime San Francisco emcee Equipto, who came to fame with Bored Stiff and also caught many hip-hop fans' attention for his collaborations with Andre Nickatina, has decided that he is going hang up the mic and call it quits for the rap game. Hence his upcoming US tour (with members of the Hieroglyphics and True Justice as his DJ) will be his final hurrah. And, with times been tough, he is seeking assistance in funding this tour via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the video above for details on what the breakdown is and how you can help - with getting something back in return such as the $25 or more donation that will get you VIP access to a show near you.
Murs and Fashawn "64 Impala"
Above is the brand new Punit Dhesi directed video for the Beatnick & K-Salaam produced song "64 Impala" off of Murs and Fashawn's current Duck Down Records collaborative album This Generation. Right now Murs and Fashawn are out on the road touring on the 'Road to Paid Dues' Tour, which will culminate at the Paid Dues Festival on March 30 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California. Continuing in that theme of Cali rappers rapping about certain year model cars I leave you with the video for The Coup's "Me And Jesus the Pimp In A 79 Granada Last Night" off the Oakland conscious hip-hop duo's (Boots Riley and DJ Pam the Funkstress) album Steal This Album.
