We just expanded our selection of headphones at Amoeba Hollywood to include a broad spectrum of gear from Eskuche, Funko Tronics, Skullcandy, Sony, Urban Ears, and more.
Below is a sampling of the headphones we're carrying. We have additional colors in most of these styles, particularly the Skullcandy headphones. Hesh, Agent, Lowrider and Uprock are the names for their different lines of headphones and each come in a variety of colors/designs. Same for Eskuche, whose lines include Control, 33iG, and Kassette.
Swing by soon and pick up a pair. Your ears will be glad you did!

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We have just recently started to expand our headphone selection, and we're looking into other brands to add. Do you have any favorites you'd like to recommend? We'll see if we can bring them in.
Grado Prestige SR-60 and SR-80 are very solid headphones from a audiophile level company that run about $100 or less and have a cool, 80s school-library feel to them. Sennheiser is a good company to look into, they make good headphones in a range of price points. If you're interested in stocking a high end headphone to go along with your Pro-ject turntables (cheers for stocking a higher-end table BTW) - check out beyerdynamic - they retail at $300 or so, cheaper if you shop around - pricey but amazingly comfortable to wear (the only headphones I can wear all day without my ears aching) and really bring out the full range on sound on everything from MP3s to vinyl. Anyhow - I should also mention that some of the Sony headphones you stock are solid choices for their price range - you guys deserve some credit for expanding your options, sorry that last post was so negative.
Thanks for the great tips! We're going to look into those brands. Stay tuned!

I have to wonder why a store like Amoeba is selling so many awful headphones - Eskuche 33s are muddy, unbalanced and cheap, almost as bad as everything SkullCandy makes. It amazes me that you guys push $100 record players and $50 headphones for people to listen to their $25 record on, totally negating the hi-fi advantages of vinyl and turning it into a fetish object for kids with too much cash.
