October 22nd at 3:00pm when the Prince of Darkness himself graces our good friends over at The Booksmith on Haight Street in San Francisco!Ozzy will be signing copies of his new book, TRUST ME, I'M DR. OZZY: Advice from Rock's Ultimate Survivor, and select albums that Amoeba will have on sale at Booksmith. Based on his ongoing, hilarious Rolling Stone column, his new book finds him embracing his status as a medical marvel to tell incredible stories not found in his memoir (I Am Ozzy), offer advice that no human should follow, and shed light on his seemingly superhuman ability to stay alive.
Selected albums will be available, courtesy of Amoeba Music, at the event and may be purchased for signing as well. No previously purchased music will be autographed.

How shady!! How can you make the public buy material and not even the honor to take a photo with him. After all, the fans help finance artists. Its at least what an artist can offer. Artists are not God. I am not going to pay again and purchase another book just to have it signed, that is crazy!! You guys suck!!
Sorry to hear that you feel that way. Signings/appearances are always run to the specifications of the artist. In this case, the photography rules were set by team Ozzy. It may seem unfair to fans, but often these rules are in place for safety reasons and in the interest of time. If everyone in line gets a picture, then there would only be time for 50 people to come through, etc. Experiencing a great personality should be the most valuable take-away after a signing. Not the photo.
