The Rolling Stones’ Tattoo You gets a fancy 40th anniversary reissue complete with all the bells and whistles the multi-platinum album deserves. With several deluxe versions hitting stores, there’s a version for every level of fan, from completist to casual listener. Expect remastered version of classic tracks like “Waiting on a Friend” and “Start Me Up” by the legendary Stephen Marcussen. The artwork looks crisp and enticing, the rarities are worth many a listen, and the overall presentation gives this longtime favorite a new sheen that should keep this album in heavy rotation for years to come.

 

The 180-gram black 2LP vinyl in gatefold sleeve version includes the newly remastered album alongside Lost & Found, a brand new collection of nine previously unreleased songs from the period of the album’s original release, newly completed and enhanced with additional vocals and guitar by the band. Among these, “Living In The Heart Of Love” is a quintessential Stones rock workout.
